The Cove Concierge Medicine concept was initially conceived in 2022 when Dr. Aaron Block and John Waters, APRN, moved to the beautiful state of Colorado. They recognized the lack of access patients had to excellent quality healthcare when they needed it and saw an opportunity for a more effective and compassionate approach.
The Cove was founded to provide top-notch concierge medical services and a more personalized approach to healthcare.
MEET THE TEAM
With a collective healthcare experience of over 20 years, Dr. Block and John excel as providers who listen to and care about their patients. Their approach to healthcare is not about quick fixes but about ensuring their patients' long-term success and well-being. They are committed to delivering excellent primary care to families and underserved populations. No longer having restrictions of corporate medicine or health insurance limitations in the office, Dr. Block and John spend prolonged time with patients to dive deep into concerns and make joint decisions together on how to achieve each person’s personal health goals.

Dr. Aaron Block is a compassionate and dedicated physician committed to patient-centered care.
Dr. Block’s love for healthcare runs deep in his roots. The son of a family physician and dietitian, he started his first job in patient care at age 15.
After attending The Ohio State University, where he earned a BS in Biology and Physical Anthropology with Honors, he continued his education at the University of South Florida, obtaining a Master of Public Health (MPH). He later received a medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Block has refined his approach to patient care, prioritizing making patients feel cared for, heard, and nurtured into their best selves.
Going the extra mile to help someone in need and creatively problem-solving for every situation is central to his practice. His specialty lies in uniquely personalizing treatments for each individual, tailored to what works best for their specific situation.
He empowers patients through education and active listening, ensuring they fully understand their medical conditions and treatment options. Dr. Block is also passionate about contributing to medical education and volunteering in policy development.

John Waters is a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with a profound dedication to adult and geriatric medicine and a strong commitment to providing compassionate care for the LGBTQ+ community. Obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the esteemed University of Florida, John has honed his skills and knowledge in the field since 2009.
Down-to-earth, comedic, and compassionate, he fosters open communication and trust with his patients. Humor plays a key role in his interactions, as he believes it to be the best medicine.
John's approach to patient care is truly unique. He focuses on holistic health, prioritizing preventive plans, patient education, and care coordination across healthcare teams.
His success stems from his genuine care for his patients, who value his thoroughness and attentive listening.
John is passionate about community outreach and dispelling misconceptions about concierge medicine. He guides patients to understand evolving healthcare models that prioritize preventive care. By encouraging shared decision-making, John empowers his patients to actively participate in treatment plans that align with their lifestyles and preferences.

As an MSCP-certified NP, he offers specialized expertise in addressing your unique menopausal journey, delivering personalized treatments and strategies.
